Heather Nauert
Heather Ann Nauert (born January 27 1970) is an American broadcast journalist and former official of the government who served as the Spokesperson for the United States Department of State in the Donald Trump administration from 2017 until 2019. She is a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute, a conservative think tank.
Prior to her posts in the Department of State, she was an ABC News correspondent and news presenter on the Fox News program Fox & Friends. She also served as the Acting Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy, Public Affairs and Diplomacy in the Trump administration from March until October 2018. Nauert was named by Trump to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board as well as the President's Commission on White House Fellowships in the year 2019.
